CTEBG08Day 1 Arrive Beijing

You will be warmly greeted at the airport by a tour representative and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is at your own leisure. Beijing-the capital city of China.

Day 2 Beijing  (AB/L/SD)

Full day tour which begins at Tian An Men Square, which is noted as the biggest public square in the world, with its monument and buildings situated around the square’s perimeter. Thereafter we will visit the Forbidden City, the Chinese imperial palace from the Ming to the Qing dynasty. We will also visit the Summer Palace declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1998. Then visit the Temple of Heaven. It was the place where Ming and Qing Dynasty emperors came to worship heaven. After dinner, enjoy the fabulous Chinese Kongfu Show(optional tour).

CTEBG08-2Day 3 Beijing  (B/L/D)

You will go and visit the majestic Great Wall, the most famous image of China. Looking like a gigantic dragon across deserts, grasslands and mountains, it is one of the “Eight wonders of the World”.  We will hike along the Ju Yong Pass Great Wall. After that you will stop at a Jade Museum and learn the history of jade. After lunch, you will go and take pictures of the national stadium also known as “Bird’s Nest” and the national aquatics center also known as the “Water Cube”. Then visit the Tongrentang Chinese medicine Institute. After dinner, visit the famous Wangfujin Avenue.

CTEBG08-3Day 4 Beijing-Xi’an (B/L/D)

Take a morning flight to Xi an. Xi an was the first Chinese city to open its doors to the world during the Tang Dynasty, it served as the Chinese capital for eleven dynasties, a period of more than 2,000 years. Visit Small Wild Goose Pagoda, which is one of the famous landmarks of Xi’an. In the night enjoy the Imperial Dumpling Banquet dinner and Tang Dynasty Singing and Dancing show(optional tour).

CTEBG08-4Day 5 Xi’an-Guilin (B/L/D)

Visit the Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses Museum. See the life-sized defending army to the first emperor of china, Qin Shi Huang. This site is regarded as “the eighth wonder of the world” and is among the top archaeological excavations of the 20th century. Then visit the Terra Cotta Army replication factory. Then go and visit the Shanxi History Museum, which has been regarded as “the pearl of ancient dynasties and the house of Chinese treasures”. Later take the flight to Guilin. People always say: “Guilin’s scenery is peerless in the world”.

Day 6 Guilin-Yangshuo (B/L/D)

Take a spectacular cruise down the meandering Li River. The scenery is breathtaking, as jagged, mist-covered mountains loom before you, and quaint villages dot the riverbanks. Disembark at Yangshuo, visit the Yangshuo West Street. Visit pearl store and tea shop.

CTEBG08-6Day 7 Guilin (B/L/D)

Visit the Elephant Trunk Hill and the Reed Flute Cave. Inside this water-eroded cave is a spectacular world of various stalactites, stone pillars and rock formations created by carbonate deposition. Optional tours: Osprey catching fish show, Shan Shui Jian Show, and bus drive around two rivers and four lakes.

Day 8 Guilin-Airport (B)

Transfer to the airport and tour ends.
